Food and Music...
Every year Toronto's Greektown host the annual Taste of the Danforth festival. The festival features delicious foods brought onto the streets by local restaurants! There's lots of food for the stomach and music for the soul! What a fun day we had! We visited the Taste of the Danforth on Saturday and luckily, the weather was perfect. The streets were jammed, music was everywhere! Everyone just strolled leisurely along, stopping here to enjoy the music and there to savour a taste of the Danforth. There were lots of variation in the food department. We enjoyed some appetizers and then went on to dinner on the Omonia patio. What a way to end the day! Well, not quite! We bought some Baklava to take home. This we enjoyed on our patio at home with a tasty bottle of wine. We had a terrific day at the Taste of the Danforth... music on the Celebrity Stage, dancers from Ecuador and lots of wonderful food!
